1)Finish writing paragraph 1 of Journal 1.
Ending sentence: My husband and I both have Oregon Fever and can't wait to claim our free land in Oregon territory.
2)Write paragraph 2 of Journal 1.(description of shopping for supplies at Courthouse Square).
Beginning sentences: My family and I woke up to the sounds of emigrants packing their wagons in the busy town of Independence, Missouri. We quickly ate breakfast and headed to Courthouse Square where Liberty and Lexington Streets meet.
Ending sentences: We were exhausted when we finished buying our last supplies. We headed back to our wagon, relieved to be away from the crowded Courthouse Square.
3) Have parents edit for spelling and punctuation errors.
